Skype recently updated their version for Android users and this latest version comes with amazing features. The latest version is Skype 6.11 comes with not one or two but several more features that are developed in order to enhance their users' experience.
With the new Android version, Skype is now able to help users to share and keep their memories that matter in a much easier way. This is just one of the goals that the developers said they would like to address in the release of the said version. The other features that they have added includes better managing of user's conversations, an easier and more ways to share content in Skype, and a more enhanced search option.
With the latest Skype app for Android users, consumers can now save their important received video messages just by tapping a thumbnail in Skype's conversation view then selecting the "Save to Gallery" option. It's like saving a video or movie to be viewed when the user has the time or just to check if they have all the important details they had discussed during a Skype meeting. This could also prove quite useful, especially to those who would like to keep a memorable video conversation and watch them as many times as they would like.
Another update to Skype also includes a quicker way to clean up the user's conversation from their "Recent" tab. By long-tapping on a certain conversation, a toolbar pops out with options to "delete the conversation", "mark all its messages as read", and/or "mute all notifications" coming from the said conversation. It could come handy since for most users, especially those who have a lot of contacts and conversations navigating through it could be a bit tiresome.
With the new feature, aside from being able to manage their conversations quickly and easily, the possibility to search conversations is now easier. Not only will users be able to search for certain conversations but will also be able to find contacts and group names as well.
Group sharing is never been easier with the latest Skype 6.11. Now the users can directly share pictures from their photo gallery to a Skype group conversation. There are also new options where the user can tap on images or files in a group chat to be instantly forwarded to a certain contact or to the group conversation itself; even "Mojis" (which are Skype's emojis and gifs) are also covered by this feature.
The recent Skype 6.11 version's features, according to Skype, were developed as a result of their users' feedback to the application. The company promises that they will keep on improving their app and is still open to even more ideas and suggestions on what should be added or improved in their app. Users are encouraged to contact them and send their feedbacks anytime. The latest Skype 6.11 is now available to be downloaded at Google's Play Store.
