Worrisome parents or just a tad too conscious ones don't have to fidget what smartphone to buy their kids. For now there is a smartphone created just for children. This smartphone is called the "Junior" and is launch by the company Swipe Telecom.

The new Swipe Junior is marketed by the company as a smartphone that has special parental control features. It is specifically made with children aging 5 - 15 years old in mind and is said to be the first smartphone created for kids in India.

The Swipe Junior smartphone comes with a 4.5 inch IPS touch screen display that has an 800 x 480p resolution. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat on a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with a 512MB RAM and an internal storage of 4GB. It has a single SIM card slot. Swipe Junior can support 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and micro USB.

The smartphone also has a 0.3MP front camera and a 2MP rear camera. The said smartphone has a 1900mAh battery that can have up to 8 hours of talk time or 120 hours of standby time. Swipe Junior comes in two color variants: blue and pink.

The company also markets that Swipe Junior has customised UI for kids with features like geo-tracking and geo-fencing for parents to easily track this kid's movements. The smartphone can let parents set safe and danger zones for their children.

There are also other great features like the parent control app management which allows the parents to decide on what apps should be allowed and blocked from the device. One other great features of Swipe Junior is its SOS alert button. The SOS button is a one-step dialling to a pre-defined contact.

Swipe Junior has a specially designed shock proof body that is made with food grade materials. This built allows the device to be completely water proof and drop proof.

Swipe Telecom has launched Junior in India and is priced at 5,999 INR. It is available through all leading e-commerce platforms. Earlier the said company has also unveiled their 4G enabled Elite 2 smartphone for 4,666 INR.
