March madness is creeping on to Apple fans, who are frantically waiting for the next gen. iPad (iPad 3?) to be released on March 7. Apple has rarely disappointed its fans with new product releases and iPad 3 will be no different. Here’s a rundown of the features people are expecting iPad 3 to boast of.
The first and most important feature would be another Apple breakthrough - the latest iOS 5.1 software - along with the personal intelligent assistant Siri.
Support for Adobe Flash is also something Apple fans want to see in the holy grail.
iPad fans are also frustrated that previous versions of the tablet are devoid of any removable storage (or lacks expandable storage option), which is a must for all pieces of technology these days. Still, Apple has tried to diminish the side-effects of this deficiency by allowing its users to sync content wirelessly between any Apple devices using the iCloud application. But for everybody that may not be enough. Hence, a micro-SD card slot ought to be added in this latest version of the tablet, no matter how farfetched the idea may sound.
Apple fans also have high expectations when it comes to the processor and RAM memory. The latest iPad 3 is expected to boast of a brand new quad-core of processor and 1GB of RAM. Also, the newest tablet from Apple must improve its camera as well, leveling up to a new 8-megapixels one, since it is rather frustrating that after paying all that money, an iPad user will still have to use his smartphone or digital camera to take photos.
Last, Apple will have to deal with rival’s Asus hybrid Transformer Prime keyboard. While Bluetooth keyboards are available to “pimp” your iPad so that you are not forced to use the all-touch screen tablet, none of the already existing keyboards can rival with what Asus is providing.
