National Football League (NFL) introduced a new service called Game Pass, which will replace their former service feature Game Rewind, and the subscription to the video streaming would allow football followers to watch full game reruns since 2009 in devices like Apple TV and game consoles such as Xbox One and Xbox 360.

According to Slash Gear, NFL Game Pass can play 256 regular season games and "on-demand" playoffs. There are also added perks in the streaming videos of Game Pass like having the chance to watch past Super Bowl matchups, review additional "coaches film" camera angles, and check out some 30-minutes reruns that were condensed to shorten each game.

Although there are other additional benefits of Game Pass, it is basically the same as Game Rewind since the live streaming options have limited capabilities just like before. For example, the pre-season games that were released in the market are the only ones allowed for live streaming.

Game Rewind, just like the new Game Pass, has a feature to rerun an important game that helped a specific football team to proceed to the RedZone, which is a special game "day only" channel that NFL Network owns and operates.

Those day games can still be seen using the Game Pass service after viewing the 4 p.m. Sunday football games. On the other hand, football fans can watch the night games instantly after their respective broadcasts, according to Tech Hive.

The most noted difference between Game Rewind and Game Pass is the latter's capacity to have a support for connected TV devices like the above mentioned Apple TV. It can also be viewed using game consoles like Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Currently, the price of Game Pass is yet to be announced in the United States. However, football fans are guessing that the cost will be the same as the Game Rewind. The previous prices were $70 for Super Bowl games, playoffs, and full regular seasons while a single-team package was priced at $30.

Meanwhile, there are cable packages available for football followers to stream NFL like the one being offered by DirecTV. Nonetheless, it is only available to individuals who cannot afford a satellite dish, thus, the package is quite expensive. For football fanatics who do not have the money to afford the cable package, the next best choices are to watch the regular season games via Sling TV, over-the-air antenna or NFL Game Pass.
