The massive Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is now available refurbished for a significantly lower price of $399.99 on eBay, complete with a one-year warranty.
Samsung is well-known for pushing the boundaries when it comes to the size of its devices and for constantly looking to offer a wide variety of options to consumers. Earlier this year, the company unleashed its Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 as the largest model in a new series, alongside the Tab Pro 8.4 and the Tab Pro 10.1.
As the name itself suggests, the Galaxy Tab Pro lineup aims to cater to the top-end of the tablet market, offering excellent specifications and some of the company's most popular premium software.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has particularly stirred interest, as it is among the largest tablets on the market. High-end specs and features, however, usually come with a price to match, and this device is no exception. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 typically costs around $649, albeit if you shop around a little you can also find it at a lower price point of $550. If that's still a bit high and you don't mind if the device is not brand new, you can choose to go for a refurbished unit from eBay for just $399.99.
According to the eBay product listing for this refurbished model, the device has been restored to factory settings, is fully tested and fully functional, but it may show some signs of previous use. This means that while the tablet works just as it should, its appearance may show slight scuffs and/or scratches that typically occur with normal use. According to the listing, the functionality of the unit is in no way affected by these signs of use, as the difference is "simply cosmetic."
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 boasts extra screen real estate thanks to a massive 12.2-inch TFT LCD display, and has a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, the slate packs an Exynos 5 Octa processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The model available now on eBay comes with 32GB of internal storage capacity, but users can always add more memory via microSD. A large 9,500 mAh battery will keep things up and running, while Android 4.4 KitKat powers the software side.
At the time of writing 115 customers already took advantage of this offer, and the seller mentions that it has "limited quantities available." Tempted?
