An unannounced HTC Desire 620 smartphone has leaked online and seems ready for retail, suggesting that it may soon make its official debut.

HTC's Desire series has been quite successful so far, as it consists of devices with good specifications at more affordable price points compared to flagship devices with top-notch specs and features.

It now seems that the next member of the family will be the HTC Desire 620, which has just made a brief appearance online. Bulgarian site Nixanbal reportedly got its hands on the device and introduced it to the world, complete with details on specs and some neat images of the smartphone. The publication has pulled its report in the meantime, but a cached copy is still available, as Phone Arena points out.

As previously mentioned, the device seems to be ready for retail, which means that it could make its official debut anytime now. According to the report, this HTC Desire 620 will come with a plastic build, a 5-inch HD display with 720p resolution and pack a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The report doesn't specify just which type of processor it will have, but it is expected to be a 64-bit Snapdragon 410.

Other rumored specs include Adreno 306 graphics, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage capacity, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front shooter to join the selfie craze.

On the software side, the smartphone reportedly runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat, with HTC's own Sense 6 UI on top. A 2,100 mAh battery will keep things up and running, and the handset also seems to have dual front speakers at the top and bottom, although it may not appear so at first glance.

In other words, this purported HTC Desire 620 seems like a decent mid-range smartphone that should deliver good performance at a budget-friendly price tag. Keep in mind, however, that HTC has made no official announcement in this regards so far, which means that it all remains in the rumor state for now.

We'll make sure to keep you up to date as soon as more details become available, but take everything with a grain of salt in the meantime.
