Sprint has finally started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, as it is the last of the four major U.S. carriers to do so.
Samsung took the wraps off its new Galaxy Note 4 early this month, unveiling its new-generation flagship phablet with top-notch specs and features all around. AT&T and Verizon were the first of the four major carriers to start accepting pre-orders for the device, kicking off the process right on Samsung's announced pre-order date, Sept. 19. T-Mobile joined the party less than a week later, opening up pre-orders on Sept. 24.
Sprint has now finally caught up with its rivals, as the carrier has officially started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as well. The carrier is allowing interested customers to choose between three available options to get the phablet.
One option is to get the device contract-free, for the full retail price of $720. Another option is to get the phablet on a standard two-year contract, which will require quite a hefty $349.99 upfront, in addition to the cost of the plan you select. Lastly, a third option will allow users to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Sprint's Easy Pay option, which involves no down payment but 24 equal monthly installments of $30 in addition to the monthly cost of your service plan.
Sprint is offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in black or white color options and will ship the device by Friday, Oct. 17.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 powerhouse comes with a 5.7-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor under the hood, paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM for a smooth and fluid performance. Other specs include 32GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional memory, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 3.7-megapixel front shooter. On the software side, the phablet runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.
With Sprint now joining the party, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available for pre-order from all four major carriers in the U.S. and will start shipping next month.
