Rockstar is dedicated to keeping GTA Online players in the loop with its progress in fixing issues and has now addressed the lost progress issue.

The highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online) launched recently to a very excited crowd, but many gamers faced various issued with the new online mode.

Rockstar Games has issued several statements so far, acknowledging issues and detailing its efforts and progress in fixing them. The company has now said it is working hard to resolve an issue causing players to lose progress status. According to Rockstar, any lost items or progress will be restored.

"We are continuing to investigate the causes of the lost progress and what can be done to minimize the impact until a permanent fix is in place," said the company on Sunday, Oct. 6, in an update post on its support page. "Also, we have not forgotten about the requests for restoration. We are in the process of determining the options for addressing the issues for those players who have been affected."

GTA Online saw a huge demand since its launch, which put a lot of strain on the servers and caused some issues, as expected. Rockstar has been busy fixing instability issues ever since, as well as other problems that caused players to lose characters, loot, progress, in-game money or other things.

Reports have been piling up from GTA Online players experiencing various issues and the company is making real efforts to keep everyone up to date with what the Rockstar team is working on.
