As the release date of HTC's new smartphone, HTC One, nears major mobile carriers in the U.S. have started announcing the released date of the device and the pricing.

Sprint becomes the latest U.S. carrier to join the race which announced the pricing details and the release date of the device in a press release.

The preorders for the device are going to start from April 5 and the smartphone will be available for the existing and new customers of Sprint for $199.99 with a two-year contract.

"HTC One will be available with 32GB of internal memory in Silver or Black in Sprint sales channels, including Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and Web Sales, for $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement (excludes taxes and surcharges). New and existing customers can pre-order HTC One beginning Friday, April 5, at www.sprint.com/htcone," Sprint stated in a press release.

The device will be available only in 32 GB version on Sprint and T-Mobile as AT&T has already secured exclusive rights for the 64 GB version of HTC One.

AT&T has already announced the price details and the release date for the smartphone. AT&T is going to start taking preorders for the 32 GB and 64 GB versions of HTC One.

The 32 GB version of the HTC One will be available for $199 whereas the 64 GB version will be available for $299. The AT&T preorder for HTC One are going to start from April 4 and the smartphone will be available on April 19.

The T-Mobile has also announced the launch date of HTC One along with the price details. T-Mobile is not going to sell the smartphone with any contract. Instead, the carrier will sell the device for $99 with monthly installment.
