Nokia fans in the UK can rejoice as carrier Three is now offering the much-touted Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 smartphone.

Earlier in January, Three had announced via a blog post that it would soon be offering the Lumia 920. However, the carrier did not disclose the release date at the time.

Now, Three UK has revealed via a Twitter post on Friday, Feb. 1 that the Lumia 920 is now up for grabs.

"#NewOnThree You can now get your mits on the fantastic @Nokia_uk Lumia 920 on Three. Get stuck in!" tweeted Three UK.

So far, the Lumia 920 has been retailed exclusively by mobile network operator EE, who launched the UK's first 4G LTE network. With Three UK offering the Lumia 920, consumers in the UK will have another option.

Three UK is offering the Lumia 920 for £36 per month on The One Plan, which also has a £69 upfront fee. This two-year plan is inclusive of 2,000 call minutes (additional 5,000 minutes to other Three numbers), unlimited data, and 5000 text messages.

Consumers can also choose the Ultimate Internet 500 two-year plan for £34 per month, which gives all-you-can-eat data access. Alternately, consumers can opt for the pay-as-you-go or PAYG plan on Three, which will set them back by £449.99.

Three UK currently has the 4.5-inch Nokia Lumia 920 in stock and the Web site indicates that it will ship the smartphone by Feb. 5.
