Rumor has it that Samsung is gearing up to unleash an arsenal of Galaxy tablets at the upcoming MWC 2013 in Barcelona this February. One of the much-rumored devices is the Galaxy Tab 3, which the company will allegedly launch in 7-inch and 10-inch versions; and now leaked images of a boxed Galaxy Tab 3 have popped up online.
The leaked image of the Galaxy Tab 3 does not indicate whether it is the 7-inch or 10-inch version. The leaked images show the Galaxy Tab 3 in the original box and are courtesy PhoneArena who received them from an anonymous source.
"Now we got sent images of what is claimed to be one of the Tab 3 versions, which are pretty blurry to tell the exact model number, but it seems to start with GT-P****, as Samsung's slates are typically numbered. There is nothing firm yet on the specs front, but we are expecting a few tablets to be announced by Samsung at MWC next month, and this here might be one of them, alongside the already leaked Note 8.0 affordable S Pen slate," noted the PhoneArena report.
A few days ago, reports indicated that Samsung would not be launching a 7-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3, and could bring an 8-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3 instead, depending on the response the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet generates. Samsung is also said to have a 10-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3 in the works.
Indications are that the Galaxy Tab 3 will launch alongside the already confirmed Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet at the MWC. We will just have to wait and watch to see which version of the Galaxy Tab 3 makes an appearance eventually.
