Last week, news that Google's Nexus 4 was being upgraded to the latest Android 4.2.2 in Brazil and Malaysia did the rounds. Now, yet another video, that made an appearance in the Czech Republic, shows the smartphone running on Android 4.2.2.
The video shows the Nexus 4 running on this latest firmware version, suggesting that it may not be long before Google pushes out the Android 4.2.2 update.
"The new update seems rather minor, as the video review shows no differences from any other Nexus 4 device. The only thing that indicates that the Nexus 4 is running on Android 4.2.2 is at the 6:34 mark where the reviewer shows the Android version," reported The Droid Guy.
Nexus 4 has been selling like hot cakes since its launch in Nov. 2012. The smartphone features top-end features, but has a starting price tag of $299 and $349 for the 8GB and 16GB versions, respectively. Google seems to be struggling to keep up with the strong demand as the Google Play Store still shows the device as "sold out".
Recently, rumors had it that the Nexus 4 was making its way to certain T-Mobile shops, but the exact dates of the arrival was not known. Rumors also indicated that production for Nexus 4 has been halted as the next-gen Nexus 5 will make its appearance soon.
The question that now arises is when will Google officially announce the Android 4.2.2 software update for existing Nexus 4 owners?
