Nokia Lumia 920 is still amongst the most popular Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphones in the U.S. and AT&T has extended the offer for a free wireless charging plate with Lumia 920 until February.

AT&T is trying its best to attract more customers to its network with offers on the Lumia 920. Recent reports indicate that AT&T is offering customer $100 off on the purchase of a second WP8 smartphone, including the Lumia 920 on a two-year contract. Now reports suggest that AT&T has also extended its free wireless charging plate offer for Nokia 920 until February.

Not many customers have put full faith on WP8 smartphones, but launched in September last year, the Nokia 920 is undoubtedly one of the most popular WP8 smartphones.

"Buy a new Nokia Lumia 920 and get a FREE wireless charging plate. No coupons, no codes, no rebate forms - just instant savings! Hurry, this limited-time offer ends February 21, 2013. Two-year contract with qualified voice and data plans required," per the AT&T Lumia 920 Web page.

The free wireless charging plate has been on offer with AT&T for a while now, but many stores did not have them in stock so store managers often took down the information and had wireless charging plate shipped to customers when available. Likewise, online purchases promised a later delivery date as soon as stock arrived.

The wireless charging plate gives the convenience of charging the Lumia 920 wirelessly. However, users still have to put the handset on top of the charging plate to charge the smartphone. The wireless charging plate is not included with the Nokia 920 and costs around $50 if bought separately.
