Google Play Store, the search giant's online store for Android smartphones and tablets, is bringing you a host of Christmas deals.

Different deals will be offered every day in the coming days, with the first deal featuring a discounted copy of Frank Capra's calssic It's A Wonderful Life.

The film can be downloaded from Google Play's Holiday 2012 promotion page for a discounted price of $4.99.

"Why is it a holiday tradition to spend time each season viewing Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life?" says Google announcing the deal. "Perhaps it's the annual life-affirming reminder of appreciating the important things, via the legendary Jimmy Stewart's portrayal of troubled businessman George Bailey, who's shown the way home by an unlikely guardian angel named Clarence."

Other deals that were available on Christmas day included an audio-book of Chris Van Allsburg's children's classic The Polar Express, which is available for $13.77, discounted from $22.95; a free Android game called The Elf Adventure Calendar; a fully illustrated version of Dr. Seuss's classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas for $0.99; and an app to help you get discounts on last minute hotel deals called Hotel Tonight.

The Google Play elves are promising another set of apps, books, movies, TV, or music surprises on Dec. 26. So make sure you keep an eye on Google Play for more deals everyday.
