With the advent of mobile phones, text messaging has become quite popular with users over the years. The messaging app for Android - MightyText (previously called Texty) - is one of the most downloaded apps which allows wireless syncing and sharing of a user's phone text messages directly to their PC browser. And now, the developer has released the MightyText app for tablets as well.
Sending an SMS is one of the simplest and no-fuss ways of getting across a message or simply dropping in a line without any hassles. However, when a user wants to have lengthy conversations, texting can be a tad tedious as it is difficult to continuously type on a tiny onscreen keyboard. Owing to this factor, several apps like TabletSMS, DeskSMS, and MightyText have become popular with users.
The MightyText app was previously available for PC's but now the developer has released a version for Android-powered tablets. A few weeks ago, the app was in beta phase but has now finally been made public. The MightyText app for Android tablets lets users receive and send text messages, get real-time alerts for missed and incoming phone calls, and more.
Setting up the app is pretty easy. It takes just 30 seconds, and the app is free. The features of the MightyText app are as follows:
- Users can send and/or receive SMS from their computer or tablet.
- The app uses the user's current Android phone number.
- Provides instant notifications on a user's computer or tablet.
- Shows who's calling on the device's screen.
The MightyText app for Android tablets can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store here.
