CES 2013 is only a couple of weeks away and we're already beginning to see leaked photos of upcoming devices being launched at the show. Today's leak, courtesy Weibo, is ZTE's upcoming Grand S Phablet.

ZTE has a press event scheduled on Jan. 8 and is expected to launch the Grand S, supposedly the world's thinnest 5-inch FHD (Full HD 1920 X 1080P) smartphone. The Grand S is also expected to feature a quad-core processor and Android Jelly Bean. There's no word on internal storage, price, or launch date, but we should hear about those details when ZTE officially launches it at its CES event.

It really looks like 2013 is shaping up to be the year of the phablet. It seems that people do want smartphones with 5+inch screens and smartphone manufacturers are more than happy to cater to these desires. We saw Samsung create the Phablet category with its Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones, followed by LG with the LG Intuition, and HTC with the Droid DNA. Sony is also expected to join the phablet party when it is expected to launch its Yuga phablet at CES as well.
