The best aspect of the Nokia Lumia 920 apart from Windows Phone 8 is its camera and, therefore, when reviewers stated that images weren't the best when taking in the day time, Nokia had no choice but to work on an update to fix the issue.

That update is just right around the corner in the form of PR1.1, and it shouldn't take too long before it is ready to be downloaded. While many reviewers were impressed with the Lumia 920's PureView camera in low light conditions, things were a little off when the sun took center stage during the day. Images had this fuzzy and soft look to them that took away minor details and for many, that was a huge disappointment.

With this new camera update, per reports, Nokia promises to fix the fuzziness issue once and for all, which would put the Lumia 920 at par with the likes of the iPhone 5 in camera detail. The update is schedule for this month; however, Nokia is yet to specify a date that Lumia 920 owners can look forward to.

It is likely this update will come on the same day Nokia releases the update for Windows Phone 8. The new update is expected to bring forth always on Wi-Fi, a feature that has been surprisingly missing from Windows Phone since it first came onto the scene back in late 2010. It's quite a shame Microsoft took two full years to fix a problem many Windows Phone users have been complaining about since day one.

Do you own a Nokia Lumia 920 and are looking forward to the new camera update?
