The year 2013 is a big year for Xbox 360 gamers. So many games to play, and so little time to play them all. However, a quick glace shows there aren't many exclusives for the Microsoft console in 2013. No doubt troubling, until one realizes this could be the year the Xbox 720 slithers in.

Despite the lack of many Xbox 360 exclusives for 2013, the console is still shaping up for a relatively good performance with the number of multiplatform games planned for release. It would be great to have more exclusive contents to play around with, but knowing the next Xbox is open for a 2013 release, that's fine.

Below are our top ten Xbox 360 video games you should consider picking up because purchasing a Nintendo Wii U for the purpose of playing Wii Fit U would put one in the class of the deranged, and you don't want that.

Let's kick things off, shall we.

Gears of War: Judgment

The Gears of War games have always been a popular choice for Xbox 360 gamers. These games never fail to deliver the goods, and can always be called up on whenever the Xbox 360 needs a good exclusive when going through a rut. Judgment takes place before the events of the first Gears of War trilogy, right to the aftermath of Emergence Day, which defines everything that goes on in the Gears of War series.

Epic Games calls Gears of War: Judgment the most intense game in the franchise. We will all find out how true this is when the game hit store shelves on March 19, 2013.

BioShock Infinite

This is the third game in the BioShock series, and the first to break away from the underwater setting that featured in the first two games. BioShock Infinite takes place on a floating city called Columbia; this city floats high above the surface, and is unlike anything else in the game's universe.

Players take the mantle of Booker DeWitt, a man who was a private detective, but has since been disgraced for reasons unknown. He's tasked with the goal of finding Elizabeth, a woman who have gone missing and needs to return unharmed. However, she's in the floating city of Columbia, which is a very dangerous place since residents living there are quite unstable.

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Fans of the comedy series have been waiting a very long time for a good South Park game; finally, it seems their dreams are coming through. South Park: The Stick of Truth is the first South Park game to actually look like the TV show and not some ugly 3D design.

The player takes to the world as the new kid who wants to make friends with other children of South Park. Over time, the new kid finds himself in the middle of a battle for The Stick of Truth, where everyone is either imaginary wizards, elves, or even a princess.

The new kid needs to prove himself as the savior of South Park, or forever be known as a loser.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Sam Fisher is back, and this time, the agent who usually uses the shadow to his advantage seems to have become an action hero. With the gameplay, we've seen so far, Splinter Cell: Blacklist appears to be an action game with little sight of stealth. However, sometimes the direction of a game changes and as gamers, we should accept that if the game turns out to be a fun experience.

Anyways, in Blacklist, Sam is the leader of the 4th Echelon unit, a unit that only answers to the President of the United States. There's a terror ultimatum out there called the Blacklist, and it is up to Sam Fisher and his team to find who is behind it, and take them out.

Grand Theft Auto: V

There are so many games to play in 2013, but only one will have gamers reeled in for months and even years, playing repeatedly. This title comes in the form of Grand Theft Auto: V, the most anticipated video game on the Xbox 360 and in 2013.

Not much is known about GTA: V, only that the game is set in the city of Los Santos, and players can take the role of 3 different characters any time they wish. It isn't sure how everything will play out with this new system, but if done correctly, Grand Theft Auto: V could become the best in the franchise yet.

Expect a massive singleplayer along with a solid multiplayer experience when the game is released next year.
