The iPhone 5 has been become one of the most talked-about smartphones on the market since its launch on Sept. 12. Apple launched the latest iPhone in white and black variants, and now the handset is also getting a 24-Karat gold coating.

iFans can now lay their hands on an unlocked 64GB version of the iPhone 5 with 24-karat gold plating and crystals covering the Apple logo at the back and the home button. The luxury of owning a crystal studded and gold-plated iPhone 5 comes at a hefty price tag of £2,695 ($4,361 approximately).

The smartphone industry has seen an increased demand for Apple products and iPhone 5 is one of them. The top-end features of the iPhone 5 have made the smartphone one of the most-wanted devices of 2012.
