A new ZTE Nubia device bearing model number NX563J has found its way on the Geekbench benchmarking website.
Not too long ago, ZTE announced the Z17 mini phone in its lauded Nubia line and now, a new Nubia smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench. There's hearsay that the purported handset is the Nubia Z17. It would be hardly surprising if the rumor proved to be true since the Z17 mini was earlier spotted on TENNA bearing an identical NX569J model number.
Nubia Z17 Specifications & Feature
The Nubia Z17 will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998), which comes with an Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.90GHz for this handset, GizmoChina (via GSMArena) reported. Also, the Z17 packs 4GB of RAM under the hood.
The listing suggests that the Nubia Z17 will be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 out of the box. Interestingly, the device's benchmark score conforms to that of the Galaxy S8+ benchmark score. While the alleged Z17 scored 1,853 points on the single core test, it acquired 6,379 points on the multi-core test.
ZTE's Nubia Z17 has been subject to a slew of rumors and leaks. Lining with this, the handset was recently spotted on a Chinese website, CNBeta, where it was shown featuring a colossal 5,000mAh battery, along with Helio P10 chip. However, the said processor is highly unlikely now since the Z17 Mini has come out with a Snapdragon 652 coupled with SD 653 chips. No prizes for guessing, Nubia will not outfit the Z17 with a chip that is secondary to its precursor; the Z17 mini.
Nubia Z17 Mini Specifications & Features
An octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor fires up the ZTE Nubia Z17 mini, which packs 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB of internal storage that can further be expanded up to a considerable 200GB using microSD card, according to Gadgets 360.
The mid-end device arrived in China on April 13, 2017, and is currently up for grabs in an array of awe-inspiring color options including Gold, Champagne Gold, Black with Gold, and Black.
Nubia Z17 Mini Price
The 4GB version of the Nubia Z17 mini sells for 1,699 Yuan (about $246) and its 6GB model costs 1,999 Yuan, which converts to about $289, TheIndianExpress reported. The Z17 mini features a 5.2-inch Full-HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and sports a 2.5D curved glass on top of it.
Meanwhile, details about the Z17 mini's alleged successor dubbed the Nubia Z17 are hard to come by at the moment, but fret not, concrete shreds of information about the upcoming smartphone are likely to surface online sooner rather than later.
