Huawei took the wraps off its Enjoy 7 Plus smartphone earlier this month without divulging a lot of details about the new device. On Monday, April 24, the Chinese handset maker finally decided to spill the beans about the upcoming device's release date.

The Enjoy 7 Plus is slated to hit the store shelves on Friday, April 28. First off, the device will be up for grabs only in China; however, GSM Arena believes there's a possibility it might eventually arrive in other markets as well; but bearing different monikers, if Huawei sticks to its latest release pattern.

The starting price for the Enjoy 7 Plus will be CNY 1,499, which converts to about $217. For the said amount, consumers can get their hands on a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model. Those looking for the high-end version which comprises 4GB RAM + 64GB storage will need to shell out CNY 1,699 (about $246).
Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus Specifications
The Enjoy 7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 720x1290 pixels resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, which is clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone comes with expandable (via a microSD card) internal storage.
On the photography front, the Enjoy 7 Plus features a 12MP main camera on the back and an 8MP front shooter for the selfie addicts, according to Gadgets 360.
Huawei's characteristic fingerprint sensor, rumored to be able to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds, is placed right under the main camera on the back. In addition, the Enjoy 7 Plus is backed by a robust 4,000 mAh battery, which according to AndroidAuthority warrants 20 hours of video playback.
Furthermore, Huawei's Enjoy 7 Plus smartphone runs on the older Android 7.0 Nougat mobile OS (operating system) with EMUI 5.1 on top. The device is available in a slew of color options including Black, Blue, Champagne Gold, Pink, Gray, and Silver.
