Yes, free apps! It's no secret that Apple has been giving iOS users free apps for the whole week. Surprisingly, the guys at Cupertino finally decided to give its customers premium freebies for an undetermined period of time.
As per BGR, the tech giant has released at least ten free apps for the iOS faithful. DataFlow pro ($1.99), iHearing ($2.99), Diary Journal 365 ($1.99), and a bunch of productivity applications are free as of the moment for Apple loyalists.
(Note: I've included the apps original prices for future reference)
But aside from the apps mentioned above, three games are also up for grabs. Alice Trapped in Wonderland ($0.99), Dark Arcana: The Carnival ($4.99), and Fortress: Destroyer ($0.99) are guaranteed to bring in entertainment for bored iPhone and iPad owners.
If you're wondering if the games are worth your time, you can check out the quick previews below.
Alice Trapped In Wonderland
We've all heard of Alice Liddel's story, from books to movie adaptations, the journey of a young girl trapped in a magical world seems to have been with us since time immemorial. The game as you'd expect brings us to the extraordinary Wonderland.
Alice Trapped in Wonderland features an amazing world that's filled with funny and witty puzzles with different places to discover and explore. Ideally, it's a great game for kids, but I won't mind playing the game by myself.
Aside from the game's beautiful aesthetics, it also has a deep and catching story that's both interactive and unique to games that offer the same experience. All in all, it's not a bad game, if you want to grab the title, click on this link.
Dark Arcana: The Carnival
From the game's title itself, this game is not for the faint of heart. iOS users that are looking for a light scare would want to download this title. Dark Arcana's content is quite massive; players are tasked to investigate two worlds, one for the living, and one to the I don't want to go there dimension.
Along the way, you'll be able to discover the carnival's sinister secrets along with ancient entity that's known as the Evil One. There are 48 spine-tingling locations to visit while you are it, 28 mini games that's another game by itself, and 21 achievements to unlock.
Plus there is also a bonus chapter and a plethora of extras. I won't be telling the details of the game for spoiler alerts, but if you want to know more, you can check out its official page in this link.
Fortress: Destroyer
Here's one of my personal favorites, a game that's meant to kill your time (I played 2-3 hours a day) during bummed out days. For starters, Fortress: Destroyer is one of the most underrated games for the iOS.
The game is fast forwarded to a fictional future in the year 2063. Rogue ice sheets in western Antartica wreak havoc in our world, where humanity plunged to total dysfunction. It's where Blackwater unleashed a vast amount of fleets to control the seas.
iOS users will take the role of a captain in the New Coastal Alliance; members of surviving national and private fleets that are held together to face Blackwater and its cohorts. What's cool is that you'll be able to craft your ship, and build your fleet against the oppressive new world tyrants.
The game has a fast pace gameplay that'll blow away previous iOS battleship warfare games. In case you're interested, you can check out the link here.
