While smartphone lovers are going berserk over dual camera phones, LG is all set to up the ante with dual cameras.

LG added dual cameras on the frontage of the LG V10 and debuted a rear mounted dual camera setup on the V20. If the Seoul-based handset maker sticks to its design pattern, the LG V30 should ideally feature dual cameras on the back as well as front side, but brace yourselves, that may not be the case if recently leaked photos of the LG V30 proved to be true.

The alleged photos offer a peek at LG V30's front panel, which shows a couple of holes for the front cameras. While this throws absolutely no light on the back of the handset, it's worth noting that the chances of LG resorting back to a single main camera are microcosmic.

The leaked photos posted on SlashLeaks (via GSMArena) also suggest LG may consider dropping its decision to get rid of the secondary screen. Apparently, it may continue to live amidst the skyrocketing popularity of the 'Always On' display, which comprises some of its functions. Another report from DigitalTrends suggests, though the secondary display may be retained for the V30, it may have come with different functions.

Back in November, tech tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) revealed via a tweet that he was able to take a gander at an early render of the V30. Blass added that the "ticker" screen will be quite different from the existing versions. While Blass refrained from divulging a lot of details at the time, he did confirm via another tweet that the secondary screen would be retained, but probably in a different capacity.

A slew of previously surfaced rumors implied that a Snapdragon 835 chipset will be firing up the LG V30, which was not available in time for the G6. Moreover, the device will pack 6GB of RAM and an enhanced DAC (Digital-to-Analog) could be in the offing as well.

The LG V20 was launched back in Sept. 2016, but it is still not properly obtainable in Europe. Stay tuned in here for more LG V30 related news and updates!
