Allegedly, the highly anticipated Apple 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be unveiled in April 2017. In addition, there are several claims about the specs and features of the upcoming Pro variant that Apple patrons are buzzing about.
It can be recalled that the 9.7-inch iPad was launched by Apple just this month. The latest offering from the Cupertino-based tech giant is not the Pro variant that fans have long been waiting. Although it is packed with the innards of the iPhone 6, it appears that fans are still waiting for the other variant. The 9.7-inch iPad is the company's replacement for the older iPad Air 2.
The most nagging question right now from fans is where is the Pro variant and when will it ever be launched? According to IHS' market analyst Rhoda Alexandra, Apple is about to start the production of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The analyst, however, underlined that the said production will be limited.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro was previously speculated to be launched alongside the 9.7-inch variant. However, it turned out that the smaller variant gets to be unveiled first. Mac Rumors recently suggested that there is a possibility for the highly anticipated Pro device to be unveiled in April. The launching will also highlight the inauguration of the latest Apple Park Campus on the said month.
From the latest claims, there will be three variants that Apple will release in the market this year. The first one, the 9.7-inch iPad was already launched. The two other variants are the 10.5-inch and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
The 10.5-inch aside from having a display equivalent to its known name will have slimmer bezels. In addition, it is speculated to look like the 9.7-inch variant just without the physical Home Button.
Moreover, the upcoming device allegedly will have 2,224 x 1,668 pixels of screen resolution and will run on the Apple A10X chipset. Aside from those, there are also claims that the device will be available with varying storage sizes ranging between 32GB and 256 GB.
