One of the most talked about dating app in the world is making its way to the PC. Tinder has recently introduced a new way for users to access the platform with Tinder Online.

The PC version of the popular dating app launched yesterday and is hoping to take off where it left. The web-optimized version is hoping to attract new users that are not savvy with the phone app.

According to TechCrunch, Tinder product head Brian Norgard is hoping for the best. He added that the PC version is meant to serve users in emerging markets who do not have enough phone storage.

Norgard added that it's also meant to serve Tinder power users to do swiping and messaging on the PC. In the app's official site, Tinder online is dubbed as a "fun new web experience."

Currently, Tinder servers 196 countries across the world. The platform is still learning how to be flexible when it comes to giving people options on how to use the app.

Tinder has also stated that the only information it collects is location via the browser. However, it uses Facebook as a log-in mechanism and the company still has access to personal info.

So far everything is checking out for the new PC-based dating app. Wired.com wrote that the Tinder Online pushes users to actually talk to people. Although it was branded as an elaborate hookup app, there's apparently love on Tinder.

In the same article from Wired, there are actually users that have found love on the dating app. The kind of publicity the app is getting kind makes a solid testimonial to people that are looking for serious relationships.

Tinder is currently testing the PC version in several countries. Tinder Online is currently available in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, and Sweden. There are plans of the launching the app in other countries soon.
