The recently released Nintendo Switch has been plagued by complaints. Among them is the scratched screens, which the company offered one and only solution.
The release of Nintendo's hybrid console has been a success. However, soon after it reached the users, several complaints have been reported. Among the issues that have received numerous complaints is about the console's scratched display screens.
On various forums sites like Reddit and Neogaf, users have vent out their problems with the Nintendo switch's dock and scratched displays. Some users even go the extra mile of sharing their experience with the console's docking mode. President of Nintendo's North America, Reggie Fils-Aimé noted in an interview with Time that the company has already run several tests in the entire year and has so far had never encountered such case.
With the growing numbers of users reporting a similar issue, several of them came up with the consensus. They have agreed that most likely, the scratched screen is the result of bent Nintendo Switch docks. This came up when some users pointed out that they have noticed deformed shape of their consoles' dock. The friction created within the bent area is causing the undesirable scratches on their display screen.
Some users shared that they cut out strips of microfiber, some used stick-on floor protectors and stuck it at the back part of the dock's switchplate. This way, the contact, as well as the friction created on the screen, is reduced if not eradicated. It is also noticeable that users came up with created ways of preventing more scratches from their screens.
Nintendo for their part clarified that the number of users affected by this issue is not very significant. Moreover, they suggested that the best and only solution for this problem is to contact the company's support center as soon as possible.
