Square Enix is set to roll out a major update for their highly popular mobile strategy video game, "Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X," next month. The game itself has become quite popular amongst "Kingdom Hearts" fans as it allows them to bring along their favorite Disney characters and elements from the video game franchise anywhere they go.
The update for "Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X" is so massive that Square Enix is considering it to be a relaunch of the game as it will be changing it in a lot of significant ways. According to a report from IGN, the changes are so huge that the game's developer has chosen to rebrand the entire game and slap it with an entirely new title.
After the update it rolled out, the game will get the new title "Kingdom Hearts: Union X." Square will be including the long requested multiplayer mode for the game, which will essentially allow players to battle different Heartless creatures in teams of six. The new mode, called "Union Cross," will let players form their own teams or instantly join one via the game's matchmaking feature.
A number of players may also now take on different missions simultaneously after the update is rolled out. To aid in the coordination of the different players, Square Enix will be adding a new communication system that will let players talk to one another using text bubbles and emotes. Additionally, the game will also now be coming with a new "Theater Mode," which will basically give players instant access to the cut scenes they have already unlocked.
Pre-registration for "Kingdom Hearts: Union X" is now currently open. Those who will register before the update is released will be getting a myriad of in-game bonuses as well as free smartphone wallpapers. Once registered, players need only to log in to the game with the same account to acquire the in-game presents.
