Katie Otto is at the end of her rope in "Bag Lady," the sixteenth episode of "American Housewife" Season 1. Now, the rest of the Otto family must fend for themselves when Katie leaves.
According to Spoiler TV, the episode called "Bag Lady" will be about Katie, who "is fed up with the family complaining about her meddling in everything they do, so she decides to back off and let everyone fend for themselves." Katie expects her family to fall apart without her to help them, but she is flabbergasted when everyone does fine without her around.
Katie also finds out that she has been sold "defective trash bags at the local grocery store." This upsets Katie, who decides to take matters into her own hands. "Bag Lady," the sixteenth episode of "American Housewife," will air on Tuesday, March 7 at 8:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
The upcoming episode of the show will once again feature Katy Mixon as Katie Otto, Diedrich Bader as Greg Otto, and Meg Donnelly as Taylor. The rest of the cast includes Daniel DiMaggio as Oliver, Julia Butters as Anna-Kat, Carly Hughes as Angela and Ali Wong as Doris.

Previously in "Man Date," the fifteenth episode of "American Housewife" Season 1, Katie once again faced Chloe Brown Mueller, her nemesis. The Ottos come across Chloe and her husband Stan Lawton at an estate sale.
Katie wonders why Westport insists on calling the event an "estate sale" instead of a yard sale, and Chloe informs her that there is a "difference between a tag sale and a garage sale." Katie's problems don't end with Chloe's snootiness: their husbands have inexplicably become best buddies.
Katie and Chloe's husbands are both fond of Westport history, and how the two enemies are forced "to attend colonial fairs together." Kate tells Greg she hates Chloe, but he convinces her to go on a double date with Chloe and Stan.
For once Chloe and Katie both agree that they hate being around each other, and the two make plans to show their husbands how awful it is to be with them at historical reenactments. Their plans go overboard when Kati spills a priceless bottle of wine from the Mayflower. Stan is shocked, but Greg laughs.
The two husbands then fight because Stan is proud that he's a descendant of one of the Mayflower passengers. Katie is guilty, and Doris and Angela tell her to approach Chloe, at least for Greg's sake. Eventually, Stan makes up with Greg.
Meanwhile, Anna-Kat is being bullied on the playground, and Taylor tells her to punch "the bully in the nose." Anna-Kat takes this advice to heart, and she now abuses her power at the playground.
