One of the biggest questions in the minds of FIFA 17 fans is the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi swapping clubs in the career mode of the game. A fan decided to test the waters and see how things will go for the two football superstars.
Team swap for Messi and Ronaldo
According to DreamTeamFC, the trial into the team swap yielded interesting results for the fans. Initially, a letter was sent to the heads of Barcelona with the aim of knowing if they are open to swapping players. The team reportedly responded and asked for £21,000,000 and also Ronaldo.
However, Messi did not initially agree with the £575,000 weekly wage which he considered low for his experience and status. When the offer went up to £1,000,000 a week, it was something he could not resist.
The game then sent a letter to the player indicating that Messi and Ronaldo have swapped clubs. Both football superstars looked happy with the swap and with their current teams.

Aside from this possibility in the FIFA 17 Career mode, Express also highlighted that Winter Upgrades for the game have already been revealed to some of the clubs. There are already changes in stats for teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.
