"Nier: Automata" gets a brand new trailer as it is nearing its release date on PS4 come March 7. And while the PC launch date is yet to be confirmed, a fresh leak indicates that will happen on March 10, a few days after it arrives on Sony's gaming console.
Square Enix has recently unveiled the latest trailer for "Nier: Automata" titled "Arsenal of Elegant Destruction". All throughout the two-minute teaser video, there was no dialogue heard but fans were treated to a slash, shot, stab and hammer action in the most stunning visuals.
It is already known earlier that the upcoming sequel to 2010 action RPG that it will be released on March 7 for PS4. But there's quite a surprise at end of the trailer, hinting at a PC release date.
Last week, it wasn't clear just yet when the game is coming to PC but Gematsu channel revealed that the game will hit the platform on March 10. Fans must note however that this has yet to be officially confirmed by the game developer.
In more news, game producer Yosuke Saito offered an explanation to Xbox One users as to the reason why Square Enix decided to limit the release of "Nier: Automata" to PS4 and PC.
He confirmed that the company has no plans to launch the game on Microsoft's gaming console at the moment, Express UK reported. He emphasized that the major reason for this decision is that there is a weak market of Xbox One present in Japan and the company favored to put their efforts on PS4 rather than on both platforms.
"Nier: Automata" is under the development of Platinum Games and directed by creator Taro Yoko. In the meantime, enjoy watching again the official trailer below.
