"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will be providing a fitting conclusion to the story of the vampires from Mystic Falls. As The CW drama is nearing its series finale, series creator Julie Plec teased that "Klaroline" fans will see Klaus and Caroline's moment in the finale. Will Caroline join "The Originals?"

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 spoilers tease that there will be a Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline (Candice King) aka "Klaroline" moment in the finale of The CW series. According to Just Jared Jr., series creator Julie Plec answered several questions from fans on Twitter.
Plec shared that there will be some "sort of" reunion for Klaroline in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale. This made a lot of fans excited and some expressed hope that this will pave the way for Caroline's crossover to The CW spinoff series, "The Originals."
Aside from the Klaroline moment in "TVD" Season 8 finale, Plec also teased that Katherine (Nina Dobrev) will be returning. It remains to be seen, however, whether these will be shown in the present time or if they will be flashbacks or flash forwards.
While Klaroline fans will certainly get their moment in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale, TVLine reports that Steroline fans will see Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline get married. Before Steroline fans rejoice, however, the episode synopsis for the penultimate episode reveals that this is a fake wedding.
Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will be staging a wedding in the upcoming "TVD" Season 8 episode in order to get rid of an enemy. During the said episode, Matt and Vicki's mother, Kelly, will be attending Steroline's wedding.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8's penultimate episode airs on Friday, March 3 on The CW.
