"Final Fantasy XV" patch 1.05 went live ahead of the scheduled Feb. 21 release date. It is expected to add the PS4 Pro Lite Mode, which is supposed to improve frame rates to up to 60 fps. The update will also add the Limited Time Quests and more new features.

In addition, Square Enix introduced the "Final Fantasy XV" Booster Pack+ to Season Pass holders. This add-on will provide powerful items designed to improve angling and give players an edge in battles. The items include the boost sword called the Ragnarok, Dragon Drain fishing rod and Avior reel.

At any rate, the "Final Fantasy XV" received the 1.05 update and it promised to give 60 fps on PS4 Pro platform. However, according to PlayStation Lifestyle, Europe's popular gaming website called Eurogamer found that FFXV does not hit 60fps after the installation of the update. Rather, it only reached around 30 to 50fps.

Apparently, the site tested the game and the results are not exactly what they expected. "PS4 still exhibits minor frame-pacing issues but the problem is less pronounced than the Pro's flagship high mode," part of Digital Foundry's statement reads.

The gaming site added that the there is additional slowdown on Xbox One and the resolution is generally lower. Still, its system provides the most consistent frame-rate. Unfortunately, this discovery led to the negative verdict about the effect of the "Final Fantasy XV" 1.05 update on PS4 Pro.

It was stated that PS4 Pro is not good to use for playing "Final Fantasy XV." To get the most of the game and enjoy the most consistent experience, PS4 and Xbox One are the best options. It can be harsh but the 1.05 patch is not recommended for installation on PS4 Pro since it will only do poorly.
