"Nier: Automata" will be released on February 23 in Japan and March 7 in all other regions. The Japanese version will have English voices and subtitles.
"Nier: Automata" is another interesting game released by Square Enix. In a Twitter post, a game official revealed that the Japanese version would come with English voices and subtitles. Players just need to choose which language to use when the title starts. Aside from English, the game also comes in four other language, including French, Italian, Spanish and German.
Android System
In other news, Square Enix announced on February 20 that "Nier: Automata" will have an online element called the Android System or the Artificial Body. When you die in the game, your Artificial Body remains in that place. These contain various data, such as the Plug-in Chip, and you can recover it by going back to the spot. Should you recover the Artificial Body and die again, you will lose your previous Artificial Body. It will also go away if you go a long time of playing without recovering it as well.
In addition, in "Nier: Automata," you will have the option to not recover the Artificial Body and, instead, repair it. By doing so, you will have it temporarily fight by your side. If you are connected online, you can have other players discover your Artificial Body, and they can repair it to have them fight by their side. Should they choose to repair the Artificial Bodies of other players, they need to acquire the Plug-in Chips instead, reported Siliconera.
Downloadable Content
Voice actor Natsuki Hanae, requested Square Enix to develop a downloadable content for "Nier: Automata." Hanae says he hopes for a costume of Caim from Drakengard for 2B. The costume is not yet confirmed if it will be a part or not of the downloadable content.
