"Criminal Minds" Season 12 episode 14 spoilers tease that Reid will be receiving "bad news," as the BAU will be investigating a case of car accidents, reports Carter Matt. As if Reid has not had the worst of his days already, it looks like Reid will experience more troubles in the upcoming episode.

As seen in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 episode 13 titled "Spencer," the titular character was charged with murder after he was illegally transacting with a woman who was later on found dead. Reid was completely innocent and had nothing to do with the crime, but he will be struggling with proving his innocence.

"Criminal Minds" Season 12 spoilers reveal that viewers will have to look forward to Reid's decision - whether he will plead guilty or not. In an interview with TVGuide.com, showrunner Erica Messer said that Reid's hands will be tied when he goes on a trial.

If Reid will plead guilty in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 episode 14, there is a chance for him to get a lighter sentence. However, Reid may choose to stick to his principles of not admitting to the crime especially since he knows he is innocent.

Messer also teased that Mr. Scratch's involvement in Reid's predicament will be unveiled in the upcoming "Criminal Minds" Season 12 episode. According to the series creator, Mr. Scratch will play a big part in the remaining episodes of the show.
