The recently released “Fifty Shades Darker” was a fresh success in the global box office. With this good news comes the announcement that the third and final instalment in the raunchy book-to-movie franchise will be out on big screens in 2018 - a week before Valentine’s Day.
As confirmed by Movie News Guide, next year’s “Fifty Shades Freed” will feature the consummation of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey’s love story. As hinted in the ending of the recent blockbuster, Dakota Johnson’s and Jamie Dornan’s characters will be saying “I Do” in the coming film.

Moreover, the “Fifty Shades Freed” cast will be expanded by the addition of more stars. Arielle Kebbel, for one, was recently cast as Gia Matteo, the architect who works for Christian. Kebbel is known for her recurring roles in “Ballers” and “UnREAL.”
Brant Daugherty from “Pretty Little Liars” and “Army Wives” will also be joining the “Fifty Shades Freed” cast. The actor was selected to portray the role of Anastasia’s personal bodyguard, Sawyer.
Furthermore, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” author, E.L. James, revealed that she wants to bring Anastasia and Christian’s relationship to the next level. She wants to explore certain areas that the couple’s love story can go.
According to multiple online reports, the on-screen couple will settle down in “Fifty Shades Freed” to finally legalize their relationship and have children. Anastasia will reportedly find out that she is pregnant while she is taking care of her stepfather, Ray.
Fans who have read the “Fifty Shades Freed” book that these outcomes are expected, but not without having to resolve a long list of issues that keep resurfacing from Christian’s past. That said, due to Christian’s parent-related baggage, he will not be taking the news of the baby well.
