At the IFA 2012 conference, the Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster was unveiled, the latest in Nokia's line of stereo headsets in partnership with Monster. This is the first wireless Nokia Purity headset, and from the spec sheet, this accessory could be a winner for both Nokia and Monster, that's if the sound quality matches what the spec sheet says.
The Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster is as the name suggests, a wireless headset meant for connecting to your Nokia smartphone via Bluetooth or NFC, for the purpose of listening to music, and, well, listening to more music.
First thing you would probably notice with the Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster, is the vivid colors they come in. Consumers, who are making plans to purchase one of these headsets, can expect to see them in red, yellow, white and black. Where is the blue one, you ask? It is likely after the first batch goes on sale, Nokia and Monster would release a blue one later down the line.
The technology behind these headsets should make for a very good listen. Monster's active noise cancelation technology is said to be one of the best, we will know this for sure when this thing is on our ears for review purposes.
The Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster is foldable to fit in a pouch. When the headset is folded, the noise cancelation tech and the headset itself is turned off. When it is unfolded, the headset is turned on automatically, so no need to be pressing buttons. Who enjoys punching a lot of buttons anyway? That's why most of us own a touchscreen smartphone.
For those interested, the Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster will be priced at €299 ($376) when it goes on sale later in the year. These headsets should go well with a brand new Windows Phone 8 based Nokia Lumia smartphone.
