Leaks suggest that Korean tech giant Samsung is looking to add to its Galaxy family. Leaked features and specifications of Samsung's new mid-range Android-powered Galaxy Victory 4G LTE have surfaced on the Internet, fueling speculations that the smartphone will be launched very soon.

"According to this Sprint internal employee promotion, the Samsung Victory 4G LTE should be on the shelves at your local Sprint store sometime in September. News that Samsung will be pushing out a bunch of mid-range Android phones has been kicking around for a week or iso, but here's the first official looking word from a carrier about one of them," stated the Android Central report.

On Sept. 2, Android Central received additional specifications and feature details of the purported Samsung offering, which is expected to arrive on U.S. carrier Sprint, from a "tipster".

The awkwardly named Galaxy Victory 4G LTE will sport a 4-inch screen with 480x800 resolution. Details on the display's technology are not known yet.

"It'll be running Android 4.0, with TouchWiz atop it. No surprise there, and we'd expect it to be announced (and eventually launch) with one of the updated versions of Ice Cream Sandwich. As for a possible upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean before launch? We wouldn't bet the farm on it. But then again it's not like we have any dates for the phone in the first place," according to the new Android Central report.

The smartphone will be Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication enabled and will likely feature a Qualcomm S4 processor. According to the leaked details it will also have Android Beam, Samsung's S Beam, and Google Wallet.

"Judging from the renders on the pages sent to us, it'll be lacking a physical home button, and it appears to have four capacitive buttons below the display," Android Central also asserted that.

No official announcement regarding the Galaxy Victory 4G LTE's release has been made by either Samsung or Sprint. However, if the rumors can be given any credence, the rollout will happen soon.
