Verizon customers have plenty to cheer about as the U.S. carrier is bringing LG's avant-garde phablet - the LG Intuition (previously named LG Optimus Vu) - their way. A leaked Verizon internal document indicates that the 5-inch phablet could release online on Sept. 6, followed by an all-channels roll out on Sept. 10.

Engadget was the first to chance across the leak and according to the report "docs detailing the CDMA-clad Optimus Vu is now beginning to make the rounds in Verizon's internal system -- and its intended launch date is among the trove of treasures to be found within. According to the docs, we should expect to see the 5-inch device available online in time for the 6th, while all channels won't be ready to go until the 10th."

The Android-powered phablet sports a 5-inch IPS Gorilla Glass Display with a 768x1024 resolution. A 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor, with 1GB of RAM, powers the device. The 4G LTE-enabled LG Intuition has 32GB of internal storage with no expandable memory option available. The phablet features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing one. The device supports up to 15 hours of talk time, courtesy its 2080mAh battery, and comes pre-loaded with the latest Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

No official details on the pricing are currently available. However, previous leaks have suggested that the LG Intuition would be priced at $199.99 (on a two-year contract).

Verizon customers may have been peeved when the carrier was unable to include the popular Samsung Galaxy Note phablet in its line up; however, with the LG Intuition in its kitty, the U.S. carrier will finally have its first phablet offering.
