Busta Rhymes is one of the top rap bands in the world and they are also known for their fierce stance on their beliefs and principles. Their performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards was expected to be above the clouds but no one expected it to be as controversial as this.

Busta Rhymes songs usually have a lot of meanings and they express their feelings through rap and they are very successful in relating their emotions through these. In their recent Grammy's performance, the rap group ended with a bang, a powerful message that really became the talk of the town. Their 'resist' chant on Donald Trump puts the target on the president once again, during a major awards show.

In the Grammy's earlier, Busta Rhymes Trump reference was included. They identified him as "President Agent Orange." Busta Rhymes performed the song with Anderson .Paak and A Tribe Called Quest. They were all against Trumps' oppressive and fascist policies, specifically mentioning the controversial ban when they performed on stage together, Sunday night.

Busta Rhymes songs such as "Movin Backwards", "We the People" and "Award Tour" were some of those they performed on the awards night. As part of their rap ensemble, they mentioned the following lines: "I wanna thank President Agent Orange for perpetuating all the evil that you’ve been perpetuating throughout the United States. I wanna thank President Agent Orange for your unsuccessful attempt at the Muslim ban. Now we come together!"

Just right after the performance, the Muslim ban was wildly talked about on Twitter, along with the hashtag "President Agent Orange." They also ended their performance with them saying over and over, the word "resist", encouraging people to take a stand and make a difference. According to reports, the "President Agent Orange" may have been a reference to Trump's tanned color or hair.

Busta Rhymes net worth is at $20 million, making them one of the most successful rap groups in the world. A Tribe Called Quest was nominated twice in this year's Grammy Awards for best rap album. The Grammy Awards 2017 was hosted by James Corden and was aired by CBS live, Sunday night.
