Following the death of Felicity Smoak's boyfriend Detective Billy Malone, Felicity took a darker turn in the second half of "Arrow" season 5. It became clearer since she was given a jump drive, which contains stolen data from the NSA by Helix hacktivist Kojo Sledgehammer.

Starting off by using the top secret files in an attempt to free Diggle, Felicity instigates by disclosing the case of NSA against Walker although she made a few major ethically uncertain decisions on Wednesday's "Arrow" season 5 episode. She didn't tell Curtis and Rory the truth as to who she was actually meeting and had them disguised as Brava enforcers blackmailing an official with the stolen date from the NSA, which doesn't seem to care for the safety of the guy's family.

Fans may wonder as to when Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell ) would find out that Felicity is on to something in "Arrow." Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Amell said that Oliver is aware that Felicity is into something and that he knows that the latter has no plans of telling him about her plan and so he will have to deal with it in his own way.

"For Felicity, it's not something that she and Oliver discuss until they have what is actually an adult conversation about it in [a future episode]," Amell added. In the next "Arrow" Fighting Fire with Fire episode, reports say that Oliver sees himself facing Vigilante but not in his costume; instead, it would be in his other life as Star City's mayor.

Oliver must find a way to face this new problem without the need of revealing his secret identity as the Green Arrow. Everyone knows that Oliver would kill all his enemies in season 1 although it has since embraced a ‘no-killing-unless-it's-totally-called-for' policy.

The next "Arrow" season 5 episode airs on March 1 on The CW at 8 PM ET. Be sure to check Mobile & Apps often for more entertainment news. Stay tuned.
