Another addition to the post-apocalyptic game genre is "Impact Winter" brought to us by Bandai Namco. The upcoming survival horror game is set to release for PC initially and updates on its release for PS4 and Xbox One are yet to come.

"Impact Winter" is a survival horror game designed by Mojo Bones which is set to release on April 12, 2017 for PC. The game offers dark and cold future world which was struck by an asteroid leading to destruction of most of the humanity. Earth's environment has become frigid due to the impact leading to harsh weather conditions for the survivors.

Our hero in the game is called Jacob Solomon who initially loses all hope of living anymore, but later finds a group of survivors in a church. The group works together to survive in the cold conditions to wait for a rescue mission coming up in 30 days' time as heard through a radio transmission. Surviving for a month is not as easy as it sounds in their environment anymore, but the group needs to do it somehow - and that is what we will witness in the game.

Bandai Namco's "Impact Winter" is about surviving through the horrific conditions with the group. Not only are the players going to save themselves, but the group members as well until they are all rescued.

"Impact Winter" sets the world in the year 2018 where the world not what it used to be. The Earth has been submerged under a thick coating of consistent snowfall after the asteroid impact. With limited supplies and a difficult to survive each day, the group has to work together for surviving.

Jacob Solomon, the protagonist of the game, receives a mysterious radio transmission through his robot companion named, Ako-Light, that might lead to survival for all. The transmission in the game lets the group know that help is coming in 30 days, so stay put.

"Impact Winter" might be the next big survival horror game, but we might have to wait for a couple of months to see that. Check out the trailer below.
