The Valentine's Day event of "Pokemon GO" was a laudable update in itself. However, it is almost nothing compared to the "Pokemon GO" update and event planned by Niantic. Needless to say, the "Pokemon GO" Valentine's Day Event was a highly anticipated by the players of the popular live-action fantasy game. It was also important as an update as the players were getting bored of the usual gameplay. No other event was launched by Niantic, the game developer, after the New Year event.

The Valentine's Day event helped double the amount of candy the players earned. How to earn candy? Players need to catch, develop, and transfer Pokemon creatures to earn the candy. The event also allowed Buddy Pocket Monsters to find candy two times their usual speed. These perks should get the players interested in the game again. However, this "Pokemon GO" Valentine's Day Event will only take place from February 8 to February 15. The event gives players additional opportunities of hatching Cleffa and Smoochum, long with Igglybuff. However, once it ends, it might just bring the game back to square one: with nothing new to offer to players.

However, as it turns out, the next update for "Pokemon GO" event is going to quite big and awesome. Pokemon Go Hub has dedicatedly perused the APK files of the game and its data and has been able to derive a final conclusion. Niantic has planned something big for the players of "Pokemon GO".

"When the day comes and Generation 2 arrives in Pokemon Go, it's going to be one of those groundbreaking moments that every game experiences," the Hub team explained. "Nintendo experienced the same when they introduced Pokemon Gold and Silver."

According to this team, the game was in dire need to completely rebuild their game and backend infrastructure as there were many technical failures in the game. They also believe that Niantic has been busy in developing a proper platform to the background of "Pokemon GO". They have been working on several features that will be added slowly to the game through recent updates. A list, circulated by Pokemon GO Hub, captures some of these features including almost 100+ new Pokemon and 30+ moves. The game will also give new avatar customization options and support for Shinny Pokemon and Bluetooth devices.
