"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 spoilers are noting on the possibility that Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) will exchange their vows before The CW drama reaches its series finale. As Hollywood Life reports, many fans are already anticipating the "Delena" wedding since the 27-year-old actress confirmed her return to the show.
It remains a mystery, however, how Dobrev's character will return in "TVD" Season 8 since her life is tied to Bonnie's (Kat Graham). There are speculations that either Bonnie will die or she will transform into a vampire, which would wake Elena from her long slumber.
Whatever it takes, many Delena fans are looking forward to Somerhalder and Dobrev's reunion since the actress left the show in Season 6. While fans are excited to see the former couple's reunion in front of the cameras in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, Celeb Dirty Laundry notes that Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed, does not seem too pleased with it.
According to the publication, it has been a while since Somerhalder and Reed were spotted together in public, which led to speculations that Reed feels threatened and insecure. Somerhalder has been notably keeping his distance from Dobrev on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
Several set photos show Dobrev with some of her former co-stars, but there has not been one yet of Dobrev with Somerhalder. The actor was also vocal about his thoughts on whether or not Dobrev should be back on the show, saying that Damon does not deserve a happy ending in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
