Two of the most anticipated tablet releases are the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and its rival the Apple iPad Pro 2. Many fans are already wondering how these two are when compared to one another.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5

Alphr noted that a chipset upgrade for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is possible especially that the Surface Pro 4 only got an Intel Skylake processor. This is also set to lessen the battery consumption of the device and allow it to have the tablet powered for an entire day.

Aside from this, speculations also indicate that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will have a 4K screen. Though this feature is not a must for a tablet, fans and users noted that buyers should be given the option to have this 4K screen for their Surface Pro 5.

It was added in a TechRadar report that the Microsoft device could arrive in April this year. Included in the highlights of the next tablet installment are the Surface Pen and the Surface Dial. The Surface Pen will reportedly be rechargeable already while the Surface Dial will be another welcome addition for artists.

iPad Pro 2

On the other hand, MacWorld indicated that the iPad Pro 2 could come out next month with a 10.5-inch version. Many are excited to know if a folding iPad design will be introduced by Apple.

Apple's next tablet offering is also believed to have a 12MP main camera and a 5MP selfie shooter, which is a big upgrade from the 8MP and 1.2MP cameras respectively. It is also thought to have 4K video recording as well as Live Photos. There could also be a 32GB variant for the device and a pink color option available for the customers.
