The success of Nintendo's "Super Marion Run" IOS has pushed other video game titles under Nintendo on the waiting list. According to reports, the 2017 release for the mobile version of "Animal Crossing" has been postponed because the video game company has invested much of its resources on the "Super Mario" mobile version.
"Super Mario Run" IOS was released during the 2016 holiday season. The mobile version of the popular Nintendo game has generated huge profit for the video game company. Nintendo did not gave the exact figures as to how many people downloaded the full version of the game. The full version of the "Super Mario" mobile version costs $9.99.
Though the popularity of the Nintendo mobile game has been good for the company, it also led to certain draw backs. One of the negative effects of the popularity of "Super Mario Run" is that some of Nintendo's other games are put on hold because most of the company's resources are given to its hit mobile game.
According to Techcrunch, Nintendo did not anticipate the on-going commitment the company had to give to run the popular mobile game. This is especially the case since the game requires post-release developments to answer the feedbacks from its costumers.
Though Nintendo is on schedule in releasing its second mobile game "Fire Emblem: Heroes", the game developer had to postpone the launch of "Animal Crossing" mobile game. "Fire Emblem: Heroes" mobile version is scheduled to be released on Feb. 2. The game will be the first to get launched as an Android only game.
Nintendo is also set to release the Android version of the "Super Mario Run". According to reports, the game's Android version could be rolled out in March. "Animal Crossing" mobile version release date has likely been pushed until March 2018. No other details about the game is currently available.
