Music sensation Ed Sheeran has recently dropped his two new singles which became instant hits. Now fans are very much excited for his tour that begins in a few months.
Album release and songs
Metro explained that Ed Sheeran is set to release his album "Divide" on March 3 which includes the earlier released singles "Castle On The Hill" and "Shape of You." The Brit singer is set to begin his tour a month after the album release.
Ticket price and where to buy
Tickets have already been pre-sold, but were easily sold out. Regular selling of the tickets for Ed Sheeran's concert begins February 2. They will begin selling the passes for around $64 in major ticket outlets like MyTicket and SeeTickets.
Concert dates
Ed Sheeran kicks off his tour on April 12 at the 3 Arena in Dublin for a two-night show. His tour will continue in SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, Manchester Arena, Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham and finally at The O2 Arena in London for his last tour leg on May 1 and May 2. The Sun said that another extra date on May 3 at a London venue has also been sold out earlier.
It was added in the same report that the support acts for these tour dates have not yet been announced. Artists who previously joined Ed Sheeran on stage at the Wembley Stadium included Passenger, OneRepublic and Rudimental. In his still unannounced tour in the United States, James Blunt is said to be joining the "Thinking Out Loud" singer.
Glastonbry Festival 2017 not yet confirmed
Aside from this tour schedule, rumors are spreading that Ed Sheeran could also be part of the Glastonbry Festival 2017 this coming June in Pilton. However, the Sun noted that there is still no confirmation on his appearance in the five-day festival. The singer attended the same event in 2011 and 2014.
