Gamers are in the dark where to get a copy of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" after several retailers including Amazon claimed that they have already exhausted their allocation.

There is a particular case of sold out pre-orders in Euro region. "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was already sold out in the UK, which is a very rare occurrence. One thing that added to the interesting development is that most of these pre-orders were intended for the upcoming Nintendo Switch. Observers agree that a sold-out exclusive game is indicative of console's potential blockbuster run in the region.

Here is another problem: Amazon UK doesn't know when new stocks of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" are coming. As such, expectants are scrubbing every retail shops that could give hints where they can purchase the game.

Another potential scenario: if Nintendo Switch version of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was sold out, is it going to affect Wii U? ThisGenGaming suspected that it is likely that Nintendo will release very limited numbers for Wii U because the company wants to focus more on the upcoming Switch. The theory also makes sense, knowing that Nintendo have developed a habit of not manufacturing enough product to sate the gaming world.

Meanwhile, NowInStock is also reporting that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" Nintendo Switch version pre-orders in the US are slowly dwindling. Best Buy and GameStop still have their respective stocks but Walmart have already ceased accepting pre-orders.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" expectants who aim for top-tier Master Edition may also find the item a rarity for now. Master Edition costs $130 but there are few listings as of press time. The next possibility is the $100 Special Edition that offers freebies apart from coveted Master Sword sculpture which the former has. At any rate, $60 Regular Edition is still the best chance - if they are not running out of stock soon as well.
