"Conan Exiles" trailer video has been released by its developer, Funcom. New trailer video revealed a limited Barbarian Edition that will be launching the survival sandbox game into the gaming world.

According to reports, we are just a week - or even days away from "Conan Exiles" PC release via Steam Early Access. And that is the reason why Funcom had already launched a cinematic trailer that will give fans something to be excited about. The trailer for the game lacks the actual gameplay, however, it provides introduction to the world and the setting where the story will take place. The storyline and plot of the survival game were also revealed along with the brutal nature adherence to the Conan universe.

In the "Conan Exiles" trailer, which you can see below, Conan takes the main stage but he will not be the main character player to take control of the game as a woman cutting Conan down from a cross enters the scene. The duo will then move on to fight through the desert winds and a group of Warg-like monsters. In the trailer's end, the woman looks over a valley and shots cut to her going through future stages of armor matched with a structure in the valley which complicates through time. The mystery character evolves the theme of "Conan Exiles" which is "Survive. Build. Dominate."

Similar to "ARK: Survival Evolved" and "Rust", players need to jump into the new world as an Exile, a random character which players can create. In the familiar gameplay loop for survival games, players must overcome surviving environment that is out to take them out, gather their resources and establish characters and bases while battling and defending themselves from other players in the world. Additionally, Funcom says the game "Conan Exiles" will be more than tracking down food and water and is filled with dark history, secrets and ancient civilizations.

As per GameSpot, the cinematic trailer was produced by Black Studios, the same studio that produced trailers for "The Divison", "Watch Dogs 2", "Mad Max" and "Mass Effect: Andromeda." "Conan Exiles" will also have a limited Barbarian Edition which consists the following items: custom digital comic book, exclusive t-shirt, 6 digital Conan the Avenger comic books from Dark Horse comics, a 368-page, fully colored digital Conan Pen & Paper RPG Core book, a 496-page "The Coming of Conan" e-book complete with illustrations and original Conan stories, award-winning "Age of Conan" and "Rise of the Godslayer" soundtracks, "Conan Exiles" soundtrack, in-game items for "Age of Conan" MMO (i.e. Savage Rhino mount) and "The Art of Conan Exiles" digital artbook.

All of these can be acquired for $60 as the standard edition of the game is priced at $30. "Conan Exiles" will be available on Steam Early Access on January 31st and will launch as part of Xbox One Game Preview Program this coming Spring 2017. No announcement yet for PS4.
