Fighting game fans are well aware of the EVO Championship held every year. EVO weekends are pretty exciting and this year's championship is no different. With a live stream announcement, EVO 2017 is going to feature a number of great titles. Besides the eight decided titles, a ninth game will be added through voting system by players.

Reports note that a two weeks' time will be given for donations to Generosity as charity for the selection of the ninth game. And, the game with the most collected money will be added to the EVO 2017. In addition, sources report that a $10,000 cash prize is also going to be added for the winner.

EVO 2017 Games up for the vote

The games that players can vote for are; "Windjammers," "Nidhogg," "Killer Instinct," "Mortal Kombat X," "Skullgirls," "Pokken Tournament," Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom," "Super Street Fighter II Turbo," or "Arms."

Players are being given a choice to vote for their favorite game among these which can then be featured at EVO 2017. Many look forward to try out "Arms" or "Windjammers" at the championship, but we will have to wait for the winning game. Other than these the eight titles added to the event are also pretty cool no doubt.

  • King of Fighters XIV
  • Fan Voted Game (Sunday Finals)
  • BlazBlue: Central Fiction (Sunday Finals)
  • Tekken 7 (Sunday Finals)
  • Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
  • Super Smash Bros. Wii U (Sunday Finals)
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee

EVO 2017 championship event is scheduled for July 14 to July 16, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Players looking to participate can register for the event or donate for the ninth game.
