Last week "Superhot" developers came up with an exciting competition named as #MAKEITSUPERHOT where gamers could create their own mods for the award-winning indie game. The competition's result is going to be announced on Feb. 26, 2017. Many talented modders tried their luck with the mods and one of them truly impressed us with his creativity. A crossover mod between "Superhot" and "Portal."

The exceptional mod is a creation of a modder named WhyNott. The crossover mod, "PortalHot," is an innovative gaming experience where "Portal's" vortex-based mechanics are merged with the slow-motion mechanics of "Superhot."

Reports note that the judges at this creative competition are IMGN.PRO, ModDB, and the "Superhot" creators themselves. Unfortunately, the general public cannot vote in the #MAKEITSUPERHOT competition.

WhyNott's first dev diary as seen on ModDB states of how an FPP adventure-puzzle game is transformed into an ultrafast tactical FPS gameplay. He further adds that is not an impossible task. He has a lot more to say in the diary post about the game's mechanics and the way he modded the game with "Portal" game features.

There are still no reports of why or how WhyNott came up with this graet crossover between the two popular games. But, it seems that the "PortalHot" mod could be one of the top contenders in the creative mods presented for the #MAKEITSUPERHOT contest. "Portal" has been enjoyed by players all over the world and with its game mechanics added to "Superhot" it is going to get a lot more interesting.

The #MAKEITSUPERHOT competition results are going to be announced with free Steam key for all the participants in the competition. This is "Superhot" developer team's way of acknowledging all the entrants. Will there be any other cool and creative mods coming up? We'll soon find out once the winners are announced.
